Prompting Instructions:

All prompts must be for game fandoms and their franchises. Some examples include (but are not limited to):

Castlevania, Devil May Cry, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, Guild Wars, Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Zelda, Magna Carta, Odin Sphere, Phantasy Star, Silent Hill, Suikoden, Valkirie Profile, World of Warcraft, Xenosaga, etc.

To request a prompt:

1. In a comment to the prompting post, submit your prompt request in the following format:

Fandom (spelled out – no abbreviations please):
Character/pairing/threesome or moresome:
Kink/cliché/fannish trope:
Phrase/word/idea/lyric to inspire:
Number (pick from 1 to 31 – day the finished work will appear):

Game franchise will also be accepted. So, if the game has been made into a movie, book, anime, etc. it is fair game. Please note that the game has to have been first then made into a movie, book, anime, etc. NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. Japanese Otome and Boys Love games also accepted.

2. If your prompt is for a crossover, please start with "Crossover, Fandom/Fandom," and then add pairing/prompt word/lyrics.

Examples:

Final Fantasy VII, Cloud/Tifa: first kiss – a night to remember – 14
Silent Hill 2, James/Mary: reunion – I had been missing you. – 30
Legend of Zelda, Dark Link/Link: Doppelslash – Let me show you who you really are. – 27
Crossover, Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy VII, Tifa/Rikku: girls night in – So much fun without the boys around. - 2

3. There is no limit on the number of prompts that you request. Go wild!

Claiming Instructions:

To claim a prompt:

1. Copy and paste the prompts for which you want to write or draw into a comment during the claiming session. Please include the date as well.

Example: May 30 - Silent Hill 2, James/Mary: reunion – I had been missing you.

2. Each prompt can be claimed a total of six times (three for fic and three for art).

3. You are welcome to claim your own prompts.


Note: Once a prompt is claimed, it will be removed from play at the end of the round regardless of whether the claim was filled.

Posting Instructions:

- All art and fic over 100 words must be behind cut tags. Any fic that includes explicit material, character death, etc. must also be behind cut tags regardless of length.

- Collaborations are welcome and encouraged.

- Ideally, you must post your work on the date your claimed prompt is listed under, however, life does happen. If you find that you cannot complete your fic or art by the due date, try to get it in by the end of the session.

- Feel free to interpret the prompt in anyway the creative direction is taking you. As long as you don't ignore the basic elements of the prompt, you should do fine.

- Artwork consists of, but is not limited to: icons, wallpapers, fanvids, drawn or painted pieces, photoshop creations. If you have questions whether your artwork medium will be accepted her, please just ask!

- Post your work to the community for archiving purposes, not just a link to your personal journal on DreamWidth.

- Please leave the tagging up to the mods for now (until we get it established) and will be organized according to date, fandom, pairing, and author/artist.

- Recipients will remain anonymous. Unless, of course, they choose to remain anonymous. ^_~

Prompt Revival

If a prompt goes unclaimed and falls out of session rotation, any member can revive the prompt for a shot at having it claimed and filled by some creative soul.
